The Gift of Knowledge was founded in 2009. We are focussed on raising awareness, connecting you to others, supporting you to make informed decisions, advocating for you and ultimately contributing to reducing the impact and incidence of hereditary breast and ovarian cancer.

Did you know 1 out of every 400-800 people  carry a BRCA gene mutation (Genetic Services New Zealand)? If you are one of these people, you are significantly more likely to develop breast and/or ovarian cancer.
